TIME

We tend to take time for granted. The truth is that time doesn't wait on us or even belong to us. Time doesn't stop or wait for us to come to our senses or to do things right or right some wrongs. Time is a continuing process just as are sound waves. It just keeps moving on.

What we do and what we say can never be taken back or erased. It is always there looming in the future, now or past. When we hurt someone, yes we can say we are sorry but it won't change what we did or said. They can either accept the apology and move on or reject it and continue to feel the hurt of the sting.

As a parent, I know first hand how children can hurt their parents without giving it a second thought. Then parents pass and the hurt travels on into time. Same if parents hurt their children.  Love covers a multitude of sins that have been done through word or deed. Reaching out and loving in spite of, is the key.

We, alone hold the key to our happiness. We can dwell on the past words and things or we can forgive and  place them into the past and move on. I choose to move on.
